Maleficient gets a classy cast!
Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning and Sharlto Copley star in Disney's retelling of Sleeping Beauty. Now joining the cast are Miranda Richardson, Imelda Staunton, Kenneth Cranham, Sam Riley and Lesley Manville. The film will be directed by Robert Stromberg. Let's hope that the film will be as good as Disney's animated Sleeping Beauty (1959)!





No Iron Man 3 for Jessica Chastain
The actress announced that she couldn't manage to fit the film into her busy schedule. Can't say I'm not glad.

Brad Silberling hires Brendan Gleeson and Abbie Cornish.
The two actors will star in the film about a war criminal in hiding and his maid. The film is entitled An Ordinary Man.



Is Community saved?
NBC has announced that 30 Rock will be renewed but that the seventh season will be the show's last. Also instead of a full season, we'll only get 13 or 14 episodes. And it looks like NBC is planning the same for Community and Parks and Recreation, though we all hope that these two shows will not end next year. Community and Parks are by far the two best shows on TV right now. And I find it annoying that NBC is likely to renew Up All Night, when the show (a pleasant one, no more) lacks the creativity of the two others.
